About

Wabi Sabi is a Japanese design concept. It means beauty in that which is temporary or imperfect. Things that are mass produced in factories are perfect but things made by hand (especially my hand) are imperfect. I think It’s their imperfections that give them their beauty.

The same is true for people. It’s the combination of all our imperfections that make us vulnerable and beautiful.

I love the idea of wabi sabi as a metaphor for the work I do - it centers around the idea of life as a journey. That we’re all working to become better versions of ourselves.

I want my pieces to reflect the journey of constant improvement because I think it’s the imperfections that make them feel human, and beautiful.

Let's create something special together.
